For the Reditus ad Futurum edition, which we designed in collaboration with Brice Delarue for Zirkumflex, we wanted to highlight the ability of the printed object to become a narrative and formal space. Inspired by LSD blotter paper, this publication is composed of twelve perforated sheets to fold, layer, and insert into a folder. The modest format (18 × 16 cm) and the limited print run of 1,200 copies reflect a precise and demanding editorial approach. The graphic language draws on diverse visual influences — from Mondrian to the guitars of Anthrax — creating a visual composition that borders on the architectural. The editorial system invites the reader to manipulate, explore, and extend the printed form: the publication is no longer passive but becomes an environment. Through perforation and layering, the paper itself becomes a bridge between image, cut, and volume. The project shows how editorial design can be conceived as a system — a meeting point between image and material. For us, this piece illustrates the intersection of art and the physicality of paper.
